Christina is a doctoral candidate in the sociology program. She has taught at Hunter College and Brooklyn College since 2008. Some of the courses she has taught include Classical Theory, Social Networks, Race and Ethnicity, Sociology of Gender, and Sociology of Family. Beginning in September 2011 she will be a Writing Fellow at Bronx Community College. Her areas of interest include science and technology, psychoanalytic theory, and queer theory. Her dissertation is about sociologists in clinical psychoanalysis and the interplay between the clinical practice and the theories and methodologies of sociological practice.
