University Student Senate (USS) Representative

Allyson Foster of the English Program currently serves as University Student Senate (USS) Representative for the Doctoral Students' Council. To view Allyson's office hours click here.

As University Student Senate (USS) Representative, Allyson's responsibilities are to represent the GC's interests at USS, and report back to DSC plenaries on the activities at USS. The USS Representative also serves ex officio on both the Executive Committee and Steering Committee of the DSC.

Bio

Allyson Foster is a 4th year Ph.D. student in the English program, with a specialization in medieval literature. Her research interests include late medieval women’s literary culture, manuscript studies, and medievalism in the Victorian period. She is currently a Chancellor’s Teaching Fellow at Hunter College, and also teaches literature at Barnard College.
