I. The meeting was called to order at 1:07 pm.

II. Health Issues Committee Blog
The committee will set up a blog through opencuny.org in the Spring semester of 2009. The blog will be used to publicize health issues-related events and to educate students about various health care options and services.

III. Blood Drive
Possible participation in the February blood drive was discussed.

IV Wellness Fair
Participation in the spring Graduate Center Wellness Fair was discussed. More information will be presented at the next committee meeting.

V. Survey
The possibility of conducting a survey about student experiences and satisfaction with NYSHIP was discussed. The discussion will be continued at the next meeting.

VI. Health Issues Committee Budget
Discussion of the budget will be tabled until the next meeting.

VII. Guest Speaker
The possibility of inviting a guest speaker from the Adjunct Project or the Wellness Center to a future meeting was discussed.
