DSC Constitution & Bylaws Committee Meeting
October 22, 2010

MINUTES

Members Present: Jared Simard (Chair), Eero Laine, Kimberly Libman, Benjamin Miller, Chris Sula.

JS calls the meeting to order at 4:38pm.

I. Approval of Agenda
CS motions to approve the agenda with item numbers adjusted to be consecutive and increasing; EL seconds the motion. The motion passes with unanimous consent.

II. Approval of Minutes of Feb 4, 2010 Meeting
CS motions to approve the agenda; KL seconds the motion. The motion passes with unanimous consent.

III. Approval of Minutes of September 15, 2010 Meeting
BM motions to approve the agenda; KL seconds the motion. The motion passes with unanimous consent.

IV. New Business

a) Changes to Bylaw 6.1.d and Bylaw 8
BM suggests several minor changes of a grammatical nature.
BM suggests that the phrase "approve the constitution" in Bylaw 8.iii.b was changed to "approve the petition of the proposed association."

CS motions to approve with BM's suggested changes; BM seconds the motion. The motion passes with unanimous consent.

KL motions to adjourn the meeting; EL seconds the motion. The motion passes with unanimous consent.
JS closes the meeting at 4:59pm.
